Mark line 30mm from one edge and glue one or two 30mm squares of tube plastic centrally
accross this. Mark line over new plastic and drill 25mm hole.

If you don't have a hole saw you can drill a ring of hole and join them with a junior hacksaw blade;
finish with round file. Drill hole for studding X mm from centre of eyepiece hole and assemble.

Outline of flat and bottom of tube reflected. Make sure flat is central within tube. Stick paper or card with 5mm hole centrally over the eyepiece hole. Align flat so that it reflects bottom end of tube. If it won't align, bend studding or cut new flat holder.
